About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Relationship Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in providing credit and administrative support to Relationship Executives and assists in developing relationships with new and existing customers by offering suitable financial solutions.

The Relationship Specialist will primarily work on complex commercial lending transactions, ensuring timely and accurate loan settlements. They will also be responsible for opening new accounts, assisting the branch with customer inquiries, and providing efficient and courteous service to customers.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements of 50% in the office.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills in both consumer and commercial lending.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, procedures, products, and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Optimist is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in Account Opening, Documentation Preparation, KYC / AML, Loan Settlement, and Portfolio Management.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification is an advantage.
