We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join our quantum sensing division. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical parts for our sensors, including laser systems, ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems, and structural components.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with physicists, engineers, and stakeholders to advance scientific knowledge and ensure the robust performance of our technology in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, development, integration, and support of our quantum sensors.">
  • Work with physicists, engineers, and stakeholders to design high-precision measurement systems.">
  • Be part of the team responsible for integration, test, and validation of newly commissioned sensors.">
  • Work on critical quantum sensing field trials with key industry partners.">

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering is required. You should have a track record of delivering high-precision prototype mechanical designs and demonstrated experience designing with CAD software.

Demonstrated experience working in an R&D environment with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders is also essential.

Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience:

Experience with ultra-high vacuum (UHV), mechanical design for optical systems, and FEA for structural/modal analysis would be beneficial.
