Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified healthcare professional to provide clinical expertise and promote development of Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health practice through the CNC list of domains and functions.

Karitane services are grounded in a strengths-based partnership model and are provided across multiple settings and services.

The position may support regional and rural services as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and capability development of staff and students
  • Participate in the delivery of high-quality services
  • Provide clinical leadership in practice
  • Participate in education and research initiatives
  • Demonstrate leadership in the workplace

Requirements:

  • Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Postgraduate qualifications in perinatal & infant mental health or approved equivalent
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of good clinical practice, policies and procedures in perinatal & infant mental health
  • Ability to consult, review, and develop policies and procedures within the relevant specialty
  • Computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and clinical information systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team
  • High-level formulation, documentation and report-writing skills
