About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Childcare Team Leader. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guidance and support of children, staff, and volunteers in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor
  • Facilitation and support of the Nominated Supervisor in leading a team of Educators to ensure they are working in accordance with the service philosophy, policy, and procedures
  • Ensuring high-quality education and care for all enrolled children, in accordance with the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Requirements
  • Cert III, Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a 2IC or in a leadership role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
  • Commitment to the holistic development of their classroom
