Job Title: Community Homelessness Leader

About The Role

Our organization is seeking a proactive and values-driven professional to fill the position of Community Homelessness Leader. This permanent, full-time role will be based in Surry Hills, NSW, and involves working with our Peer Support, Lived Experience, Students, and Volunteer teams to provide them with support and resources.

  • Support the implementation of our Homelessness Stream Model of Care across all services.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and volunteers.
  • Maintain and build partnerships with internal and external organizations to drive community engagement and development.

This position requires:

  • A valid NSW Drivers Licence.
  • A current NSW Working With Children Check.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in community services, social work, or a related discipline (minimum Diploma Level).
  • An understanding of Trauma Informed Practice principles.
