About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Scape Eats Team as a Kitchen Steward Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial kitchen, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and food safety
  • Operate commercial electric equipment, including dish machines and other kitchen appliances
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and colleagues
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience operating commercial electric equipment and dish machines
  • Prior experience of specific cleaning methods as they apply to different metals and surfaces
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to follow instruction
