Stewarding Team Leader Opportunity at Hyatt Regency Sydney

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee the general cleaning duties, ensuring all equipment and food areas are clean, hygienic, and safe in accordance with HACCP and hotel standards.
  • Assist the Chief Steward & Operations Manager – Stewarding in supervising and overseeing the cleaning and washing of all dishes and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate breakage records and ensuring safe practice and monitoring of chemical usage.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of HACCP and previous experience in a similar role, with the skills to work in a high-volume environment.
  • A hands-on leadership approach, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work 38 hours per week and a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Full valid Australian working rights.
