Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist for Women's Health">

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in providing comprehensive mental health services to women.

  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and Registrars to provide assessment and management of antenatal and postnatal patients, gynaecology, oncology, and other women's health patients.
  • Ongoing teaching and mentoring opportunities will be available for the successful candidate.
">Key Responsibilities">
  • To provide consultation-liaison perinatal service to women with mental health problems who are inpatients or outpatients of our hospital.
  • To work with other staff/units of our hospital to provide advice, consultation, and support for the care of women with mental health problems.

Requirements

">
  • A Medical Practitioner registered with AHPRA.
  • At least 18 months of experience working as a junior doctor in a public teaching hospital.
  • Preferably worked in an emergency setting, such as an emergency department.
