**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Perinatal Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will have a passion for providing comprehensive mental health assessment, treatment and support for women with significant mental health difficulties in the perinatal period.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health care to pregnant women and new mothers experiencing mental health issues
  • Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs for healthcare professionals and consumers

Requirements:

  • A relevant registration (Registered Nurse, Social Worker, OT or Clinical Psychologist)
  • Post-graduate qualification in Mental Health or specialist undergraduate Mental Health Program
  • Experience in providing mental health care to women in the perinatal period
