Mental Health Specialist
">We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Midwest Area. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women experiencing perinatal related mental health issues.
As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be part of a team providing assessment and treatment for women requiring help with depression, PTSD, pregnancy-related grief, anxiety, and other perinatal related mental health issues. You will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-supported treatments and holistic care.
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in public mental health services
- Experience in providing psycho-education to consumers and carers
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience in providing primary and secondary consultation to stakeholders
- Ability to provide education and professional development to healthcare workers
