About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Academic Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for education in First Nations culture, history, knowledges and health.

The role will focus on leading the development, refinement, coordination and delivery of teaching and learning related to the history, culture, traditional/contemporary knowledges and health of First Nations peoples.

A key aspect of this role will be developing connections and partnerships for community engagement and First Nations clinical experiences for students in our medical and health courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver teaching programs that incorporate First Nations perspectives and knowledge.
  • Foster partnerships with community organisations to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty members to integrate First Nations content into curriculum.

Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in academic leadership and teaching in higher education.
  • Demonstrated expertise in First Nations culture, history, knowledges and health.
