Healthscope is seeking a highly skilled Medical Administration and Operations Coordinator to join our team in the Eastern Suburbs, close to Bronte Beach.

We are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This key position will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a busy reception desk, including answering and redirecting calls, and preparing admission paperwork;
  • Maintaining accurate and effective record management systems, including preparation of medical records;
  • Performing Health Fund Checks as required;
  • Managing the collection of excesses/co payments;
  • Coordinating with staff from other departments;
  • Completing other clerical tasks, such as data entry.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team. You must be highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and preferably familiar with WebPas Hospital system and Zedmed.

This role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, but we are happy to discuss this further with the right candidate.
