About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Credit Receivable Officer to join our dynamic Finance team at Programmed. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment with strong team support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer receipts and review blocked orders to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve payment discrepancies and improve cash flow.
  • Process customer payments, including credit card and direct debit transactions, and allocate payments to the correct accounts and invoices.
  • Handle customer claims and reconciliations, and assist the Credit Manager in the dunning process.
  • Maintain and control the Aging of Debtors, ensuring the AR ledger is up-to-date and regularly reviewing aged debtors.
  • Monitor and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and compile monthly credit reports.
  • Set up PPSR for existing customers and respond to customer queries promptly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Working knowledge of Credit Law.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume environment with experience in cultivating healthy customer payment behavior.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other accounting software packages.
