Senior Payroll Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Manager to oversee the daily payroll operations and lead a team of payroll officers at AccountAbility.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day payroll processing for Australian employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Lead a team of payroll officers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Run complex payrolls and manage multiple entities, including PAYG, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax.
- Maintain compliance with recent payroll changes and taxation legislation.
- Manage escalations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Experience with process improvements and project implementations.
- Payroll accounting and month-end reporting and analysis skills.
- High volume payroll processing experience, preferably with exposure to Micropay.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of success in previous roles.
- An attractive salary package, including a base salary of $130,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation and bonus.
