Business Finance Specialist

Job Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of exceptional customer service by managing the end-to-end lending process.

The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship managers and Bankers to deliver complex lending solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support new and increased lending by creating and preparing complex lending submissions.
  • Perform credit analysis, financial modelling, and interpretation of customers' financial information.
  • Deliver a superior customer experience by managing the lending process, maintaining accountability, and engaging internal/external contacts.
  • Develop strong customer relationships to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in lending processes and credit analysis (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience understanding and interpreting financial documentation.
  • Understanding of policy and verification requirements.
  • Understanding of risk obligations and knowledge of how to replicate compliance.
  • A business or finance qualification preferred.
