Job Title: Property Risk Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Property Risk Specialist to join our Commercial Division. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned underwriter to specialise in ISR property risk and develop their expertise. You will work closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage complex workflows to deliver quality products and services to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designated portfolio brokers, focusing on underwriting property insurances within delegated authority limits.
  • Ensure that business offerings align with divisional objectives, portfolio balance, and cycle management strategies.
  • Maximise retention of assigned accounts and review renewal business in conjunction with internal stakeholders' requirements.
  • Maintain market presence and provide feedback to stakeholders, capitalising on business opportunities as they arise.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in packaged, strata or ISR insurance from an underwriting or broking perspective.
  • A strong network in the brokerage community or experience engaging with brokers is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
  • The ability to plan, prioritise effectively, and manage competing resources and demands is critical.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements is necessary.
