Job Overview:

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will lead the design and Agile delivery of various engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality results. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will play a vital role in driving our end-to-end software development offering forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solution architecture designs in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Lead small teams of developers using Agile methodologies, focusing on quality and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to technical requirements elaboration, including development-ready backlogs and testable acceptance criteria
  • Design and develop automated unit and integration tests
  • Prepare technical documentation, including requirements backlogs, user interface prototypes, and software specifications
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to confirm detailed requirements and demonstrate work in progress
  • Provide technical pre-sales support, estimation of services work, and technical input into business development and bid activities

What We're Looking For:

  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, leading multiple developers
  • A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (highly desirable)
  • Advanced full-stack software development and coding skills using modern languages (JavaScript, .NET), frameworks (AngularJS), and database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL)
  • Demonstrated experience implementing cloud-first solutions, leveraging contemporary cloud platform approaches (serverless, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Experience with Agile development methodology through requirements analysis, backlog management, sprint planning, testing, and release
  • Proven ability to work with scripting languages (such as Python) to customize applications and automate processes, comfortable leading the application of configuration management tools and testing frameworks

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per annum + Superannuation
