At ING, we're looking for a seasoned technology leader to drive strategic growth and innovation in our Payments Domain. As the IT Area Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital banking and driving technological advancements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy for the Payments Domain, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to prioritize and sequence technology projects, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality products.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues within the technology environment.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and strategic partners to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Requirements:

  • Senior managerial experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Strong understanding of the Finance Industry with 3+ years' experience leading Payment system management and delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience providing expert competence with 10-15 years of experience in technology, preferably with retail banking and finance industry.
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, with experience in change & stakeholder management at Executive (C Level).
