About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Microsoft as a Strategic Technology Consultant, where you will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of our University customers in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology strategies that align with the customer's innovation agenda, leveraging your deep understanding of the education industry and Microsoft's technology solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing thought leadership on IT, business strategy, and technology landscape
  • Advising on gaps in customer situations that would benefit from Microsoft solutions
  • Driving action to bring strategic, long-term vision to fruition
  • Acting as a strategic link between Microsoft and the customer for building a technology strategy
  • Leading technical teams to drive opportunities and reaching out to key stakeholders

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience
  • Experience engaging and managing relationships with CXO level stakeholders, cultivating strategic partnerships
  • Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms

Preferred Experience

Experience working within, or knowledge of the education industry, is highly regarded. Additionally, experience overseeing numerous accounts and leading technical teams is an advantage.
