We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our technology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technological landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Business Needs
    • Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and non-functional requirements.
    • Develop solution architectures that align with our technology strategies, ensuring compliance with governance obligations.
    • Collaborate closely with product owners and managers to support robust architectural foundations.
    • Understand and integrate business drivers and enterprise solution designs to drive targeted outcomes.
  • Assess Technology
    • Monitor and evaluate our current technology landscape to identify deficiencies.
    • Stay abreast of global trends and disruptions to make informed technological decisions.
    • Support lifecycle management and strategic decision-making for end-of-life products.
    • Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to adjust our technological trajectory.
  • Apply Technology
    • Lead the design and implementation of solution architectures across various business applications and technologies.
    • Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise solution portfolio.
    • Provide consultancy across a wide range of technologies and projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
    • Work closely with the Domain Lead to ensure effective execution of architectural plans.
  • Provide Enterprise Guidance
    • Deliver standards, models, and architectural designs to support governance and ensure compliance.
    • Facilitate a community of practice to align agile squads and product owners with enterprise architecture.
    • Define and direct governance activities for solution architecture assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems, core banking systems, payment platforms, and other financial transaction processing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to define IT architectures, standards, and solutions, and get stakeholder agreement on those architectures, standards, solutions.
  • Experience with API Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience or familiarity with AWS Cloud Services, Data, Design, and Cloud adoption frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide projects and deliver outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce solution designs and artefacts within agile ways of working.
  • Technical acumen with AWS services, PaaS, IaaS, Security, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall environments, with an ability to adapt to differing project methodologies.
