Parliamentary Events Manager

About the Role
The Department of the House of Representatives is seeking a highly skilled individual to manage and oversee projects for the delivery of significant parliamentary events.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier contracts, ensuring key performance indicators and legal requirements are met, and utilizing Commonwealth resources in an effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee projects for the delivery of significant parliamentary events
- Manage supplier contracts to ensure key performance indicators and legal requirements are met
- Utilize Commonwealth resources in an effective manner
- Coordinate support for events delivered by agencies external to and within the parliamentary service
- Document and evaluate the delivery of projects to ensure the effectiveness of procedures and processes for future events
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of parliamentary procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
