About Ignite Recruitment:
We are seeking a highly skilled Parliamentary and Event Officer to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our CEO and executives, as well as manage parliamentary inboxes and document systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage parliamentary inboxes and document systems
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and executives
- Draft, proofread, and coordinate ministerial and briefing correspondence
- Manage Senate Estimates, Question Time Briefs, and Questions on Notice
- Coordinate external events, including logistics and stakeholder liaison
- Assist in the tabling of documents in Parliament
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with parliamentary processes and brief writing (desirable)
- Proficient IT skills with adaptability to new software systems
