About the Role:
As part of a joint venture, we have been awarded a major contract for the delivery of Light Rail Stage 2A – City to Commonwealth Park in Canberra ACT. The project involves building three new stops and extending the network by 1.7 kilometres.
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Canberra CBD. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our document control system and processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the document control system and processes for the tender phase, including data room administration.
- Register, distribute, and track all tender documentation to ensure timely access for all parties.
- Maintain an organised filing system for tender documents, ensuring accessibility for the bid team.
- Adapt emerging technologies to enhance bid team capability and productivity.
- Update and maintain document revisions, identify any issues with registered documents, record these issues diligently, and communicate them effectively to the relevant parties for resolution.
About You:
- You should have proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role, with additional experience in administrative duties, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficient with document control and procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of the tender and procurement processes within the construction industry.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
