Guest Support Manager

This 6-month secondment opportunity is an excellent chance to step into a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for monitoring signs of gambling problems among guests and responding appropriately.

  • You will manage customer relationships to resolve queries and concerns with diplomacy and tact.
  • Identify signs of gambling problems and support guests to make adequate decisions about their ongoing gambling activity.
  • Assist supervisors and managers when employees express concerns about their own gambling activity.
  • Implement Safer Gambling programmes and monitor their quality and effectiveness.
  • Communicate and implement policies and procedures to all employees to maintain Safer gambling standards.
Requirements:
  • Experience in guest relations, support services, social work, security, or education, preferably with tertiary qualifications in psychology.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop productive relationships, policies, and safer gambling strategies.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to the company.
  • Effectively demonstrating the ability to make sound judgements and informed decisions to mitigate risks.
