Exciting Opportunities Await a Highly Skilled Leader in Process Engineering
About the RoleThis is an exceptional chance to take on a leadership role in process engineering, overseeing electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Main Responsibilities- Lead process engineering design, managing projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring safety and compliance.
- Design and develop new processes or improve existing ones, including analysing technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and creating deliverables for projects in chemicals/agricultural sectors.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure their satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Ensure all designs and processes meet relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Take a lead role in HAZOP studies to guarantee compliance with functional safety requirements.
- Support plant commissioning, develop commissioning documents, and actively lead commissioning activities.
- Identify process optimisation opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Minimum 12 years' experience managing projects on major hazards facilities (MHF).
- Demonstrable experience embedding process safety considerations into process engineering and design development.
- Proven experience involved in projects in chemicals/agricultural sectors.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (or related field).
- Availability to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria.
