Highly Experienced Software Engineering Leader Wanted

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will lead a team of skilled software developers to deliver high-quality, on-time banking software.
- Ensure your team has access to the necessary skills, tools, processes, and support to consistently meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of experienced software developers in building complex development projects.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of developers.
- Deliver results on complex development projects involving multiple teams across the organization.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring the proper structures are in place for timely and high-quality product releases.
- Collaborate with internal customers and senior leaders to define, prioritize, and drive strategic business objectives.
- Communicate engineering team processes and priorities to stakeholders and customers as needed.
- Resolve business critical concerns with customers.
- Resource and support product teams to meet prioritized needs.
- Clearly communicate schedule and quality expectations and ensure teams operate efficiently.
- Maintain a culture centered on continuous improvement and nCino values.
- Resolve employee conflicts through creative means to assure employee support and accountability.
Requirements:
- Substantial expertise in an OOP programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Apex, or Python.
- Experience in cloud platform & product development and operations.
- Extensive professional experience in an Agile development environment and in implementing and improving Agile/Scrum practices in an enterprise-scale organization.
- Proven success as a coach and mentor of technical staff.
- Demonstrated dedication to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to motivate yourself and others, prioritize your own work, and adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
