Senior Data Architect Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead our data engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement scalable data architectures that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop end-to-end data architecture for ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption across various use cases.
  • Define and enforce data modelling, integration, and architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with product roadmaps.
  • Ensure the platform supports enterprise-grade data governance, security, lineage, and cataloguing.
  • Provide architectural guidance during development, ensuring code quality and integrity.
  • Conduct reviews of system and data designs, contributing to the platform's scalability and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in designing enterprise data platforms with open source tools preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including storage, compute, and data processing services.
  • Proficient in data modelling (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) and big data architectures.
  • Experience implementing data governance, cataloguing, and security best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
