Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a staff software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices, data access layers, REST APIs, and writing integration services for third-party API consumption.

You will work with engineers on uplifting business capabilities and modernizing our tech stack. This includes hands-on coding, shaping the evolution of systems, and contributing to robust architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Authority: Act as a go-to expert for technical solutions, guiding teams through challenges, performing rigorous code reviews, and contributing to architectural decisions.
  • Hands-on Leadership: Lead by example through high-quality code contributions, innovative design, and a focus on delivering scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor engineers, facilitate knowledge sharing, and cultivate an environment where collaboration drives the team forward.
  • DevSecOps Mindset: Champion best practices in security, automation, and continuous delivery, identifying risks early and ensuring secure, reliable deployments.

  • Development Tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies
  • CI/CD: TeamCity, Urban Code Deploy, GitHub Actions
  • Event-Driven: Kafka and IBM MQ
  • AWS: Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Serverless, Step Functions
  • Security: Certificate management, vulnerability assessment, secrets management
