Food and Beverage Attendant

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage professional to join our team. As a key member of the Conference & Events department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, collaborating effectively with guests and colleagues, and maintaining high standards of presentation and service across all areas of the venue.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and ensure every guest receives warm, professional, and efficient service throughout their experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with guests, Conferencing Executive Sous Chefs, and teams to manage menu details, address guest feedback, and resolve service concerns.
  • Maintain a high standard of presentation and service across all areas of the venue, ensuring alignment with hotel expectations.
  • Lead and inspire team members, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order, overseeing the cleaning and upkeep of all service areas.
  • Promote operational excellence, encouraging the team to consistently exceed guest expectations.
  • Accurately report revenue, including completion of cash/charge summaries and daily reconciliations.
  • Ensure WH&S compliance, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment at all times.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and participate in team meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Conference & Events Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.

Requirements:

  • Guest-focused mindset and passion for hospitality and service.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage clearly with both guests and team members.
  • Attention to detail and hands-on approach with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Flexibility and availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Current RSA certification is essential.
