Workshop Controller Opportunity

At Peter Warren Automotive Holdings, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Controller to join our team in Warwick Farm. As a key member of our Service team, you will be responsible for managing daily tasks, overseeing technician productivity, and prioritizing repair orders for timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily tasks for a team of technicians.
  • Oversee technician productivity and efficiency.
  • Prioritize repair orders for timely completion.
  • Assist with technical problem-solving.
  • Suggest additional work to the Service Advisor team for customer notification.
  • Ensure repair orders are completed correctly for warranty procedures, seeking clarification when needed.
  • Lead qualified technicians and apprentices to optimize service delivery.
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer benchmarks.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist in setting and achieving service sales and profit objectives.
  • Control workshop activity to maximize profitability.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work experience and trade qualifications.
  • Previous Workshop Controller experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Current driver's license.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Team management experience.
  • MVTC essential.
  • Air-conditioning license (preferred but not essential).
  • ASCIS & AUVIS license (preferred but not essential).
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Demonstrates care and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Works well within large teams and follows processes/instructions.
  • Punctual and reliable.
