Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving quality across the organisation. As an Operational Excellence Coordinator, you'll lead initiatives such as 5S, visual management, problem-solving workshops, and process improvement projects.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your key areas of accountability include:

  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across all departments.
  • Facilitate and sustain 5S, visual management, and workplace organisation standards.
  • Coordinate and run problem-solving workshops.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Map and optimise process flows for products and documentation.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence and experienced in applying Lean principles to drive meaningful change.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in a continuous improvement, Lean, or process-focused role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience applying Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management).
  • Strong knowledge of process flow, standard work, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
