About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Incident Responder to join our team at the Department of Transport and Planning.

This role will be responsible for investigating security incidents, managing threat intelligence, and providing daily checks and initial triage and prioritization of alerts feeding into the DTP SIEM.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management and experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate security incidents and alerts
  • Manage threat intelligence and vulnerabilities
  • Provide daily checks and initial triage and prioritization of alerts feeding into the DTP SIEM

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a SOC environment
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Incident Management
  • Experience working in incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
