Job Opportunity: Substation Construction Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and capable construction supervisor to oversee civil projects on a 10:4 roster. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage frontline work personnel and deliver high-quality substation project services across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction of substation infrastructure, including earthworks, footing systems, drainage, cable accommodation systems, roadworks, fencing, and gravel surfacing.
  • Supervise site construction activities such as demolition, working at heights, confined spaces, and near live parts.
  • Coordinate resources to fulfill project plans and outage requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Organize and supervise personnel, plant, and machinery resources efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cert III or Cert IV in Civil Construction or equivalent, with a proven track record of supervising civil construction projects.
  • Experience working on HV substations is highly desirable.
