Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team of construction professionals working on a range of projects in the ACT region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations management
  • Review, negotiation, and finalization of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system
Essential Qualifications:
  • Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
  • Aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
  • Industry relevant degree qualification
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles & construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations
  • Confident & collaborative communicator
  • Self-motivated and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
  • Process and system appreciative

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They must also be proficient in Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations.
