About the role:

  • Mater Health Services is seeking casual Guest Services Assistants (Housekeeping) to join our team at the South Brisbane Campus.

This is an expression of interest for those interested in working across a rotating roster, including weekends.

Salary range : $31.24 - $33.68 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation.

You will perform cleaning and guest service tasks in various hospital areas, supporting the Guest Service team to ensure safety, efficiency, and high standards of cleanliness and patient care.

Your duties will include but are not limited to :

  1. Delivering guest service activities within required time frames and standards.
  2. Achieving guest service KPIs across all Mater facilities.
  3. Maintaining a friendly, cheerful demeanor to support patients.
  4. Following all policies, procedures, and work instructions relevant to guest services.
  5. Adhering to strict cleaning protocols and health and safety guidelines.
  6. Completing 3-stage Deprox cleaning using appropriate machinery safely and according to guidelines.
  7. Respecting guest confidentiality and rights.
  8. Logging maintenance issues as needed.
