The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Operations team as a Project Delivery Specialist. In this role, you will utilise your project planning and management expertise to deliver annual capital project plans, creating vibrant and inviting retirement living communities.

You will provide project management for both planned and reactive capital works for remediation projects. You will partner with the Operations and Property Teams to support the creation and execution of project plans against time, cost and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivery of village capital projects (planned and reactive)
  • Contribution to creation of village asset plans
  • Partnering with Operations and Property Teams in the delivery of quality expertise to support the business in creating, monitoring, and executing capex project plans
  • Providing project management expertise for the delivery of the annual capex delivery plan from project inception to completion
  • Managing ongoing contractor compliance for capex projects
  • Creation and management of tenders, contracts, purchase orders and work orders
  • Producing and providing project plans and accurate reporting for project and expenditure tracking

Requirements:

  • Project and/or construction management experience with demonstrated and successful outcomes in the delivery of remediation and new construction projects
  • Quantity Surveying background with an ability to interrogate project costing and scoping
  • Experience managing clients, contractors, construction teams and relevant consultants
  • Strong ability to lead, drive and motivate stakeholders to achieve program milestones
  • Demonstrated commercial/financial acumen
  • Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship management
  • Experience in contract preparation and management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of and commitment to Operational Risk requirements, including Risk Assessments
