Capital Projects Lead

We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Lead to drive the successful delivery of major capital projects across our operations.

About the Role
  • This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, including design, implementation, and risk management.
  • The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within time, scope, and budget, ensuring safety, cost-efficiency, and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of major capital works projects.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, resourcing, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external project resources to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in senior project engineering roles, preferably in FMCG/food manufacturing.
  • A recognised degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with proven delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of EPCM project delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Expertise in managing contractors, resources, and multiple project stakeholders.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and HSEQ systems in capital works.
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage and forecast budgets effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong alignment with business values.
