Fleet Strategy Manager

This leadership role oversees the strategic management of a fleet of over 400 vehicles and specialized plant. The position involves driving innovation to enhance efficiency, improve service delivery, and ensure effective whole-of-life asset management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial and contract management, with a strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery of fleet procurement projects, technology integration, and environmental sustainability.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of fleet renewal plans and ensuring new vehicle specifications deliver measurable benefits to operations.

  • Financial management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the fleet.
  • Contract management: Manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Fleet procurement: Develop and implement strategies for procuring new vehicles and equipment.
  • Tech integration: Integrate technology solutions to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sustainability: Develop and implement sustainable practices to reduce environmental impact.

A key requirement is to develop and lead a high-performing team to achieve strategic objectives.
