Job Description

The organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to work alongside the Branch Manager in driving operational efficiencies, coordinating day to day operations and improving service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule day to day operations of warehouse
  • Consult with management in the development and management of operational targets
  • Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day to day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment
  • Lead high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve and service issues
  • Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery
  • Manage and prepare detailed reports on lab or efficiencies and overall cost management
  • Lead performance management investigations and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading a large workforce
  • Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems
  • Experience within the transport / waste / logistics and recycling industries is advantageous
  • Dangerous goods awareness preferred
  • Intermediate excel and Word experience
