Expert Health and Safety Leader

This role involves collaborating with senior management to oversee the department's health and safety strategy, including corporate policies, procedures, tools, and education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety issues and matters.
- Facilitating governance and assurance for identified health and safety risks.
- Overseeing strategic initiatives and projects throughout the department.
What You Will Do:
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Lead the enhancement and development of the department's Health and Safety Management System.
- Provide consultancy services and advice to business groups and senior officers.
- Represent the organization at forums, committees, and communities of practice.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of contemporary health and safety practices.
- Coach, mentor, and support your team and business leads.
- Undertake research and analysis of organizational data.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and submissions.
