Job Title: Health and Safety Expert

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of a contemporary Health, Safety and Wellbeing program that aligns with business and operational priorities.

About the Role

The Health and Safety Expert will be responsible for leading local consultative arrangements, coaching leaders on safety and wellbeing risks, and developing Executive reports and submissions on various safety and wellbeing areas.

  • Lead and support local consultative arrangements including Store Safety Captains, Area Safety Leaders, and Market Safety representatives.
  • Capture learning from work health and safety incidents to improve outcomes and prevent harm.
  • Assist with the development of Executive reports and submissions on various safety and wellbeing areas.
  • Support the analysis of safety and wellbeing data to establish risk profiles and prioritise areas of focus for intervention strategies.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require proven knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian and International Standards, and risk assessment methodologies. You will also need experience conducting work health and safety audits and inspections.
