Job Title: Senior Health and Safety Executive

Elevate your leadership skills to a higher level as a Senior Health and Safety Executive. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our health, safety, wellbeing, and environment functions across our national organisation.

About the Role:

  • Lead all health, safety, wellbeing, and environment functions across the organisation.
  • Develop and implement innovative and best-practice procedures, frameworks, policies, and programs to minimise risk and develop a strong safety culture.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Manage a team of HSE professionals and provide mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, practices, and action plans to enhance corporate sustainable development.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental functions across the organisation.
  • Implement evidence-based risk management strategies and programmes.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental matters.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience in HSE roles, with a minimum of 5 in senior leadership.
  • Formal qualifications in WHS are essential.
  • Able to lead and mentor a group of HSE professionals based around Australia.
  • Well-developed report writing and research skills, and demonstrated skills and achievements in project management.
  • Experience in working with diverse stakeholders and displays business and industry acumen understanding.
