Environmental Health and Safety Leader

As a Site Environmental Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for managing the implementation and maintenance of the site's safety management system. This includes coordinating with the site to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
You will also be responsible for providing hands-on technical expertise to deliver health and safety outcomes aligned with corporate policies. Additionally, you will participate in EHS performance improvement initiatives, monitor the use of process safety management processes, and review work method statements and job safety analysis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a high-achieving, self-motivated, and results-driven leader. You will partner with the site to manage their EHS Safety Management System and provide expert technical support to deliver health and safety outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in engineering, chemistry, environmental or occupational health sciences or equivalent combination of training and experience. They must be familiar with safety and environmental regulations and have experience with safety management system administration and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Provide hands-on technical expertise to deliver health and safety outcomes
- Participate in EHS performance improvement initiatives
- Monitor the use of process safety management processes
- Review work method statements and job safety analysis
- Support and participate in the site safety committee
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, chemistry, environmental or occupational health sciences or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
- Experience with safety management system administration and implementation
