Regional Express Holdings Limited, known as Rex, is Australia's largest independent regional and domestic airline, operating a diverse fleet of aircraft to numerous destinations across the country. The Rex Group also includes wholly owned subsidiaries that provide air freight, aeromedical services, and pilot training.

We are currently seeking a commercially driven individual to become a part of our Network Strategy Team in the capacity of a Revenue and Pricing Analyst.

The core objective of this position is to enhance revenue outcomes for flights managed by the Rex Group within both Domestic and Regional Networks. We are looking for a candidate with robust analytical and numerical capabilities, who can make informed business decisions grounded in market performance analysis.

Reporting Structure:

This role will report directly to the Manager of Revenue Management and Pricing, with a concentrated effort on maximizing both revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends to identify demand fluctuations and adjust inventory as necessary.
  • Implement Revenue Management and Pricing strategies aimed at enhancing flight and route performance.
  • Generate clear and effective performance measurement reports utilizing extensive data sets.
  • Monitor and assess competitor strategies to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and execute inventory strategies for designated markets.
  • Provide pricing recommendations for assigned routes to optimize revenue generation.
  • Maximize revenue through the daily utilization of the Revenue Management System.
  • Communicate market performance insights proactively to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver management reporting and additional commercial analysis as required.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience in the airline or travel industry in a Revenue Management, Pricing, or Analytical role, and/or a degree in business, finance, or commerce is preferred.
