The Space Optimization Analyst will play a crucial role in driving business growth by optimizing store space and improving customer experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of Woolworths Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Derive fact-based recommendations on space utilization across customer space upgrades, new stores, renewals, and range reviews.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal space outcomes for stores and customers through rigorous data analysis, reporting, and interpretation.
  • Identify key strategic priorities for space optimization using quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Develop and implement space optimization strategies to maximize return on investment.
  • Support the development and rollout of new space optimization tools and processes within the business.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role within retail or FMCG.
  • Advanced Excel skills, Blue Yonder, and SQL experience highly regarded.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to draw insights from data.
