Job Title: Technical Product Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Specialist to join our team. This role reports into the Engineering Manager and is responsible for delivering technical product application support to customers and the sales team, whilst also providing broader engineering assistance across the business.

  • This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement of product development and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will bring both technical knowledge and entrepreneurial energy to this customer-facing role as well as be willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree or similar in trade, preferably mechanical, with proven experience in an applications engineering role.

A strong analytical, problem-solving and data analysis capability is essential for success in this position.

  • Key skills and qualifications:
    • Engineering degree / or similar in trade - Mechanical
    • Proven experience in an applications engineering role (mechanical is ideal)
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3D modelling
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and VBA (ideal)
    • Willingness and ability to travel regularly within NSW and interstate
    About You:

We are looking for someone who is comfortable travelling and working in the field. The ideal candidate will be a practical, hands-on individual who can bring industrial experience and product knowledge to the role.

  • Requirements:
    • Industrial experience and product knowledge (particularly industrial sealing) is HIGHLY DESIRED
