Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead our support function and manage escalations, ensuring the smooth delivery of technology services. This is a daily hands-on role that combines operational leadership with direct technical work.

About You:

You will be responsible for leading IT operations, providing senior technical expertise, driving operational excellence, managing people and partners, and delivering projects. To succeed in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in IT, significant experience in technical operations or infrastructure leadership, and deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, endpoint management, and networking fundamentals.

About the Role:

  • Lead IT Operations: Oversee support services, act as the primary escalation point, and ensure tickets are resolved within agreed service level agreements.
  • Be the Senior Technical SME: Provide deep, daily hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, networking, and endpoint management.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Implement proactive maintenance, improve monitoring, and enhance our endpoint and identity management.
  • Manage People & Partners: Mentor and guide Support Analysts, manage rostering and workload, and hold MSPs and vendors accountable for outcomes.
  • Deliver Projects: Lead or contribute to technology initiatives such as Windows 11 rollouts, Intune uplifts, and other operational transitions.
  • Ensure Business Alignment: Translate technical priorities into tangible business value, balancing strong security with usability.
