Community Supervisor Opportunity

As a Community Supervisor, you will lead our Community Worker team and be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, direction, and management of Community Workers within regions. Your role will involve providing support during the initial onboarding phase of new community workers, managing compliance requirements, and mentoring community workers to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct a dedicated team of Community Workers who provide direct care to clients in Northern and Western Sydney.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage leave requests and ensure timely resolution of concerns raised by Community Workers.
  • Collaborate with Coordinators and Care Advisors to address service delivery concerns and work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure Community Worker staff numbers meet service demands.
  • Investigate incidents and complaints relating to Community Workers and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory position and ability to conduct performance reviews.
  • Previous experience as a Home Care Worker or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Cert III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety policy and processes.
  • Understanding of rostering management systems and high degree of computer competency.
  • Registered and insured motor vehicle and a current unrestricted drivers' licence.
  • Evidence of Covid 19 Vaccination.
