Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a retail, tourism, or hospitality background and have a proven track record in customer service.

This position involves leading a team of casual crew members, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and upholding safety and operational standards.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our location, including acting as Location Manager when needed. This requires taking full responsibility for operations, team leadership, and customer satisfaction during those times.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team. They will also have a strong focus on safety, with the ability to manage compliance and respond effectively to any incidents.

Additionally, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, including boat departures and docking, conducting patrols in support vessels, and ensuring fleet cleanliness and upkeep.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual who can drive awareness of our brand in the Sydney community and help grow customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a casual crew, fostering a culture of safety, professionalism, and fun.

• Guest Services: Set the tone for outstanding customer experiences by leading engaging briefings and demonstrations.

• Safety Oversight: Manage safety compliance, troubleshoot operational issues, and respond effectively to any waterway incidents.

• Fleet Operations: Oversee boat departures and docking, conduct patrols in support vessels, and ensure fleet cleanliness and upkeep.

• Acting Leadership: Step into the Location Manager role during their absence to ensure seamless operations and team coordination.

• Local Engagement: Drive awareness of our brand in the Sydney community and help grow customer loyalty.

• Administrative Duties: Complete daily operational tasks, such as stock control and activity reports.
