Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Team Leader to drive the success of our Workers Compensation team in Sydney. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring all claim related performance and service measures are met, while motivating and enabling your team to achieve their objectives.

About the Role:

  • Effectively lead a team to deliver key business objectives and meet critical business outcomes by providing guidance, support and resources.
  • Understand key performance drivers and identify opportunities to continuously improve team performance through data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, mentor and develop a team with the aim of improving negotiation, customer service and technical skills to enhance overall team performance.
  • Act as escalation point by assisting in resolving complex queries or complaints beyond the skills, knowledge or authority of team members.
  • Implement and manage change improvements, facilitating learning and development opportunities that build capability within a team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive personal injury management expertise within a Personal Injury environment.
  • Expertise in team leadership and a proven track record of driving high performance teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Innovative thinking - creative ideas that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability for developing strong customer relationships and effectively resolving customer escalations.
